Hey, I’m Sam!
Similar to many entrepreneurs, I’ve tried a few different career paths over the years. With my culinary background I always knew I wanted to give running my own business a shot. I had several versions of my own business, all on the smaller side and all with their own challenges and successes.
However, looking back I really should refer to those businesses as hobbies. I had no idea what my monthly expenses were, what my revenue was and, most importantly, if I was even making a consistent profit. My own experiences are a big part of why being a bookkeeper and helping small business owners is so exciting to me! After seeing these gaps in information first-hand, I want to make sure others understand their businesses a lot better than I did.
During my spare time I’m thinking about my next meal, listening to music, drinking Italian wine or walking by the water with my wife.
